must admitI couldn't get into space in the first month of jtl (not for want of trying just anytime I tried to get away from my crafting station another guildy would pop into my workshop)
when I did eventually get onto the pilot seatI haven't been out of it after the first couple of tiers you get to a level where piloting is worthwhile ended upmastering all pilot professions and redone smuggler alliance just to have easy access to jabbas
I have toask is it not hard making components you don't actually use or do you go by cutom order requirements?

You are not as much of an oddity as you think you are, my friend! Unless we both are....Hehe.
I'm not a huge fan of space either. Yeah, it's fun for a bit, and I do play every now and then, but I'm just not very good at "twitch" games and my joystick is a serious POS, so I'm not too fond of the experience. Maybe if I played more I'd get better but running a booming SW/architect business and playing my combat characters doesn't leave a lot of time for space.
That said, I'm starting to get back into it because of the new expansion coming up. I'm grinding Freelance Pilot with my SW character and Imp pilot with my Jedi, just so I can use the cool new ships. Hehe.

Well it took me til 4/4/4/4 pilot til I burnt out on space. It had its honeymoon and it was worth the $30, but I expected daily PVP. The whole reason I mastered SW was to have an edge in PVP- access to serious hardware. I got 6 duels out of the whole 3 months I went overt for. So yea, blasting at AI sux unless my mind is heavily altered.

Nope I can't standspace either, only reasonI ever got novice pilot was to use the travel option. Tried missions several times and could'nt get anywhere so i did'nt bother any more. Have been s/w since day after JTL went live.

Yeah I don't think it's an oddity to hate space and be a SW. Eveyone's interests are different. I love space for two reasons:
1) I really like helping others with their missions
2) I like harvesting PvE's for kick-ass equipment
But not everyone's into those points.

Oddly enough, I hated JTL in Beta and quit the game. Now that I'm back, I can't get enough of it.

Not necessarily. Unless you're talking capacitors and cannons, I don't find anything spectacular. I'm probably ignorant of it though. I *loathe* searching for specialty resources. The only components I craft are engines.
