Thread: Tie fighter winglets???
Not going to be available.
The thing with the winglets in that picture is most likely the TIE Fighter Heavy Variant, which is an entire chassis.

Edit:
And I knew this was familiar. You've asked this question 15 different ways in other threads, and you always get the same response. There are *no* TIE Fighter winglets.
Why do you keep asking?

Seems I have to keep on asking the question as nobody gives me an answer I'm happy with. Thing is I bought a heavy variant tie fighter - IS HAS NO WINGLETS! So ... back to how to get the winglets. Is it available or will it be in the future. How can you say "There are *no* TIE Fighter winglets" if you say things like "most likely the TIE Fighter Heavy Variant". Seems you really don't know either.... If it is a complete chassis where do you get it? Is it a quest? Rare loot? Did the guy making the the heavy tie leave out the winglets?
I start new threads also as threads start to go offf topic

Like I said in the other thread I replied to 4 days ago, I wasn't sure if the Heavy TIE Fighter had winglets or not, that was my best guess. If it doesn't have winglets (as you've pointed out), then that picture is bogus. It was promotional advertising for the expansion, and the content never made it in.
You're gonna keep asking until someone gives you an answer you like? How's this:
The *only* Imperial chassis mods that we can make are for the Advanced. There are *no plans* as far as we know to make new TIE Fighter winglets available in the game.
You cannot have what's in that picture. Get over it, move on.

Hi again
Do you know for sure that it is not included? Do you know for sure that it is not given as a reward? Can you as a SCM find out somehow if that is the case? I just want the facts. If it is not available then I will stop looking, but people just seem to speculate. I'm not trying to flame or rub people up the wrong way, but the answers that I've received in the other posts were best gueses and people saying what they thought or believed to be the case. Nobody has come out saying that the winglets for tiesnever made it into liveexcept for one guy. I'm just trying to confirm that. At this point I will gladly get over it and move on.
