Also posted this in the pilot forums, but I made a page which shows all the payouts you get for asteroid resources per outpost. This makes it easier to see what you can ask for your resource if you choose to sell it to shipwrights or if you are a shipwright what you can offer for it.

/bump this is a very useful tool just to print out and keep handy when you need to know where to go next for your schematic.

It took mean hour to mine 1000 units of petro asteroid. How is this worth the effort?

If you're just selling to the outpost, it may not be worth your time.

Please note that most shipwrights will pay you MUCH more than what the outposts will... potentially 4x as much for the resources they actually use.

You're doing something very wrong. Should take you about 10 minutes.

You should try and get a tracktor beam, mark III mining laser and a large cargo hold. I went from 1000 per hour to over 6k per hour. It sells for about 30-40CPU on Eclipse but I can sell parts made with the asteroid for 100 CPU or so still.
