I'm not a SW but I've taken a side job running some harvesters. My question is, what hub do you check first. I see lots of minerals on the vendor of Theed and some on Mos Ei. I just trying to get a feel where I should sell my steel. I've been having lots of luck at Theed but I feel that the market might be a little saturated there.

Thanks, and please don't say private vendors because I don't have the skillpoints to get one.

Thanks again guys.

A) have own vendor and sell the resources at a high traffic mall.

B) find a crafter would buy any resource you harvest (good or bad at 2cpu).

C) break it down to 3-10k units and sell it in Mos Eisley (newbie need resources to grind) but be restricted to 25 items on bazaar.

D) Best choice drop your havesters on the best resource no matter what planet it's on harvest until gone the auction it on you galaxy trade forum.

Right for Chassis Shipwrights need

OQ

SR

UT

MA - for chassis mass

HR - for hitpoints

At 25% importance.

Resources used in Chassis are - steel, aluminium, copper, polymer, fiberplast, iron

If you want to sell these chassis then bear in mind that when you see a Dunelizard for 30k you are paying just 2cpu on the resources used to make it (and peopleSTILL demand the best chassis possible) If you want shipwrights to buy from you, sell cheap, and stock about 8 times as much steel as anything else but try and keep the other stuff in stock too

We also like:

Perovskitic Alu with good OQ and UT (or is it SR I forget without checking) tho other good stats are also welcome

Alu with good OQ and CD

Copper with good OQ CD

Gravitonic FP with good OQ and SR and UT

FP with the same.

Liquid Petro chem with good OQ and PE

High OQ/PE radioactive and higrade polymetric radioactive.

Consider all other stats important too.

Yes we (can somtimes) make a fair profit on our stuff, but consider this too.. how many components do you buy for your ship as opposed to looted ones and how often do you replace them?

we dont sell that much, repeat custom dies after a pilot reaches master because they dont need any new gear after that.

(again this is why I DETEST the shipwrights selling at what they consider "fair" prices.. but thats another rant ).

E) Best Choice - take business 3 from artisan to allow 1 vendor and drop it close to any main starport and make sure vendor search is enabled. People DO use the search facility on the bazaar to find the best deals. Price competitively and you can soon boostrap yourself into a fleet of BER13 heavies.

Note to known universe: "Competitively" does not mean "undercut the will to live out of the competition" - most of the time it means match prices for similar quality products. If your products are inferior then maybe a lower price than the average is warranted.
