No experience... 1 item (dont get "best of" stats) only 1% better... but a chance at a Firespray thing?

Is there some other uber use for Reverse Engineering level 1 loot that Ive missed? They seem in too high demand if thats all there is to it.

Yes there is a chance to get a KSE disk when you RE any level of looted components but the general consensus seems to be that your chance is greater with Level 1 parts. I'm not sure if that is actually the case or just that Level 1 parts areRE'd more oftensince you don't need to combine them with any other parts. As far as level 1s being in high demand the only reason I can think of other than KSE disks is the occasional high energy reactor drop that makes a nice low mass reactor to have or sell.

Nice reactor! Thank you for the responses. I happily started RE-ing my level 1 stuff last night and got a disk! Beginners luck I guess, got it on RE#65 or thereabouts.

I have a nice 890 Mass 11300+ Reactor that was an RE. My JSF loves it.
