I've had a lot of people bug me about the look of ships... not so much for Rebel (since everyone knows those ships). But we have many variations of the TIE, and all these Hutt and Blacksun ships with many different versions.

You have the blueprint model... kinda boring.

What if...

The devs used a holo-style-graphic... Think Episode II when Geonosian was attacked, andCount Dookufleed with theDeath Star plans, he had that little module thing that shot a beam up justabove and the 3D holo design hovered over it. Wouldn't it be cool if the chassis blueprints were kinda like that?

I've been wishing the same thing. Then people would know what they are actually buying. The only reason I can think of that they wouldn't do something like this is that they decided the art team just didn't have time.

I love the idea, Genesis!......on the Y-Wing-vs-Ywing Long Probe potential scam, I think if Shipwrights dont muck around with the names on the blueprints, just leave the default name, that would let people know what they are buying.

Yes, I feel bad when someone wants to know the difference between a Dunelizard style 1 and 2, and I have to reply with, "No idea."

I think this is an excellent idea. Currently, the only real way to tell what each style looks like is to visit the JTL section of the main SWG website.

I also don't know if this has been addressed... Y-Wing and Y-Wing (long probe)... I remember back in the day when people tried ripping others off by making like a harvester schematic and calling it a PA Hall, or something stupid.

If you compare the mass/hp of the two ships they aren't too far off, is there a potential scam waiting to happen here? People selling Y-Wings disguised as Y-Wing Long Probes?
