Hey Ono'
Im with you so far
Ive been playing around with em as well and at these levels a lotof the otherexp. areasdon't really provide benefit. I am trying to grind out the upper levels to get to the tier 4-5 ships and components to see if any other things come into play but I'm betting not!!

How many of you test your products?
As a tier 2 pilot and a master shipwright i have tested many items, and experimented differently each time till i came up with what suites me.
For shields and armor i put much into back armor/shields. I often get beat on badly there. I thought an even mixture would do well, but found it better having more back armor and shields. When facing 5-8 ships it is impossible to have them not hit you from the rear. Also go for hitpoints to help protect said devices.
For blasters i think energy use per shot, andrecharge rateare important, and put a few blocks into min/max damage. Nothing like having a powerful blaster that takes 20+ energy to shoot, and taking a long time to recharge. Id rather have medium firepoer and faster rate of fire with great recharge rates. Makes for a better all around blaster.
For missles i think a large payload ( number of missles ) is a wise choice. And rest goes into min/max damage. I havent seen anything to lower lock-on times and still playing with this.
For missle launcher i put everything into mass and energy consumption to lower it.
For engines i like a fast and maneuverable ship. pitch, yall, and speed are important to me. If i can swing in around enemy ship and beat on them from the back side it is much easier to take out.
Im still palying with other areas of each components. Once i find a good combo i will mass produce these. And since everyone is different i will also make other types of components for everyone.
But i think it is wise to play around and test each items.
How many of you have tested these before making them? I know i bought my first items before making them and they do not even compare to the ones i make. THey just put them on the market to make fast cash.
What are your findings?
What settings do you like?
How did you come up with the settings you have?
Thanks
Ono'mas
