im novice shipwright and i just got my own crafting station and still only have kits i can craft is that normal ?

The information you supply is kinda vague, so sorry if my questions are a bit basic.
You have both a space crafting station and a space crafting tool?
You've gotten enough general crafting experience to get the first box of shipwright?
When opening the tool, are you selecting the correct tabs? There should be two tabs, one for tools/kits and one for components.

ohhh i think that might be it ill check it out after im done with that full scan i crashed right after that post hehe. if you put the toll in the tollbar it will go to the kit section of it i guess

i guess i need that first box i didnt see that anywhere ... so i guess i have to craft a ton of kits ...

If you do not have the Artisan Engineering branch complete, you won't be able to craft ships. And yes, it's a lot of tool kits 
. I was preoccupied with beta, and forgot my main didn't have any general experience to fill the novice shipwright box. I spent two days after beta ended grinding out the novice skill box of shipwright..lol.
I think kits/tools give you the best xp. personal harvesters might be better, but I don't know..haven't done those in a LONG time, and they require more resources.

im good i got novice shipwright and im master weaponsmith so i have eng 4 so theres something wrong i just cheked the stuff i should have from novice and i got maybe half of it ... when i craft im missin some , are they all craftable from the same tool or you need different ones ? man this is retarded

damn im retarded lol i got it now you were right i was thinking from the tool menu i would get the rest nah it was from inside the tool im so dumb , sorry for wasting your time
