There are already some Master Shipwrights out there so I was wondering if anyone knew what I should be grinding as a Novice Shipwright and what I should learn next and what I should grind then and so on..

You don't grind anything. You make Z-95's or one of the other ship chassis at that level until you get to the next level. Then you do Y-wings or the like, then you move up. You keep what you make and sell it. There are too many resources involved to waste them in Practice mode. You can produce good quality chassis at the novice level and sell them just fine.
I am still working on my grind (spent what little time I had to day doing the harvester run), and I have a thriving chassis and Mark I part business.

The top sticky has the grind information. Although yes, it's generally better to make the chassis and sell them to recoup your resource costs

I agree with the others. DONT GRIND!!
This profession is pretty cool in that even low level SW CAN sell the stuff they make. I would highly reccomend finding an existing SW and offer to team up with them. Apprentice yourself maybe. You dont need to do the WS/AS thing and become a Master before learning the profession.

Pricing is in a grey area for everyone at the moment. But most people are selling the novice chassis at about 25-50k.

Ah my arch-nemisis LonlyGhost, have not seen you for a while. Been buisy keeping up with demand?
I happen to agree with you here. (still need factorys
) Dont grind to master, mabe make a couple chasis when you dont have any buisness but mainly make chasis and components for people infront of your favorit starport.
I have gotten to 3,2,2,2 making about 3-4mill a day. I did grind a couple times for specific people who helped pay form me being shipwright (supplyed 1 mil resources). Mainly I work with people and get what they want, and that levels me up at about the speed that they do.

Selling all my Teir 1 Craft at 10k each. They are at best ok so I can't bring myself to ask for more. I have to agree with all that was posted about not grinding. Unless you have money to burn and want to do the class in a day (which crafting the high end ships could get you to ) I would just sell what you make,
Good luck to you

Just curious, but how much are you guys selling your z-95, light Hutt, and TIE blueprints for? Pricing is such a gray area for me right now.
