I started wednesday. Took me 4 hours to master shipwright thanks to Pho-Tek. We have 3 shipwrights now and might have a few more. Gotta say I love most of it. But its a completely different kind of grinding.

1) Even with 3 of us, we spend more time crafting then we do anything else. No factory support is painful. Really wish we could get some more limited factory support.

2 Firespray schem pieces is nuts. I get 3 back to back then nothing 2 days. Finally I get another and its one I already got. I thought the DEVs learned from the holocron fiasco. Guess they didnt.

3) I am glad that so far no FS xp exchange. I hope the DEVs keep it this way. Keep JTL as far from FS and Jedi as possible.

Anyway I love it. Still some bugs. But hey its far better then I figured it would be.

Yoda: "When I die, the last of the Jedi, you will be!"
Luke: "Really? what about those 50,000 Jedi Masters outside comparing Saber Size?"
Yoda: "Sorry I am, My Bad it is"

I would like to have a force xp conversion rate.

But one low enough, to make shipwright neither a cost efficient nor a time efficient way to grind Jedi.

Sorry but I have to disagree. Once the FS people get their foot in the door its all over. It starts with wanting FS xp. Then they will say "Hey we get FS xp so why cant we get our FS skill bonuses in SW and pilot.". Then jedi start to see this and say goodbye to an even playing field in space because the jedi will say "Hey they get FS bonuses. We should get force powers."

Stop it before it starts. Slam the door and lock it. I dont want anything that could risk a jedi getting force powers in space.

While I understand what you are saying I don't think that you have anything to worry about. For one thing it's not like a jedi can use a light-saber in space.

Although, like the original movie where Luke used the powers of the force to destroy the Deathstar. Lets remember that there is a big difference between shooting at a object that appears to stand still and shooting at a object that is moving.

The only force power I can really see anyone having in space is being able to sense things where others can't. That is if the saga is being kept to the story level.

May the force be with you, always...

With regards to #1, expect it to be that way for a while, since JTL is new and people are scrambling for ships and there are very few master shipwrights. I figure as time progresses though, there will be less demand and more shipwrights, freeing up some time for you and your associates. No factory is a bummer, but the devs seemed pretty steadfast on the issue, so I don't see it changing very soon.

Tho I agree with keeping FS away from JTL, I'm not sure why xp can't be converted. Is it said somewhere that a convertable xp must get some benefit from whatever it allows you to train?
