Title sorta says it all, if you get the 'That's a reserved name' message tough - it's choosen for you, thank u and goodnight - Surely we should be able to re-pick the name

You think thats bad .... try using the last charge in your analyzer ... a pop-up appears saying the analyzer is expended, which dumps the naming box and the RE'd part takes the default name of one of the parts you used

Personally, it concerns me much more that we lose all but the first word of a crafted component after ti's been used in a ship. Very annoying to have 3 Dozen things named "Mark" on your used parts vendor... worse still to have to name everything "Mark-III-Capacitor" or whatever you do to work around it.

Copy and paste is your friend until this gets fixed. Make several of each item at one time and copy the first name. Then paste it to each additional one.

Yeah, i know. It just bugs me. All the dashes look horrible, and none of the other options are much better. just a pet peeve I'm living with.

Not just ONE of the parts...the first one in the box.
I also love that I can keep a crap component to combine with a good, and keep the low power usage with the better stats from other things. Reverse Engineering is fun!
