Has anyone else messed with the upgrade components? I did a little last night and it seemed to make the player made stuff more useful.

If you are talking about the optional enhancements you canadd into the creation of crafted starship parts...absolutely...I never make a single piece of equipment without using an enhancement ...otherwise they are not nearly as great as they can be ... however no matter how great the resources I use on capaciters and adding the enhancements they are still very weak compared to looted capaciters...

That's the way it is. We can craft better Reactors, Shields, Armor and Blasters (if we add the enhancements) than looted items, BUT Engines and Capacitors, and maybe other items, at the lower levels anyway, are always better and sometimes MUCH better than crafted ones.

Exactly. Ive gotten MAD props and repeat customers because Ive done this from the start.

Yep. That's exactly what I am talking about. I am hearing all these people complain about the loot, but the little I messed around with it, I came up with some pretty decent stuff.
