Hi, non-SW here looking for info on giving my ship a paintjob. I've had a look around the forums and it seems I'm after a Texture Kit but I can't find whether I, as a non-SW,can buy these and use them like a Vehicle Customisation kit or whether I need to go to a SW who has to use it while crafting the initial ship?

You as the owner can use them. Ship needs to exist in your datapad to use them.

Ship paint kits will color the two color areas on your ship, texture kits change the pattern of color on your ship, there are 5 or 6 of those. Yes any one can use either of those.

A pink Tie fighter, I'm reasonably sure that would be against Imperial Navy Regs.

You will need 2 paint kits. Onefor the body color, and one for the trim color. Each kit has one charge. I guessit takes more painttocovera ship than a speeder.

A slight correction, each kit can paint the primary AND the secondary color of the ship, so in essence it has TWO charges.

Paint and texture kits dont work on any of the Tie fighers. Not sure about the empire multi-player ship. I wanted a pink tie

I did name my ship: BowTie
