I took and engine from a TIE Interceptor with great stats, and put it into a TIE Bomber. The Bomber has 190k mass compared to the Interceptors mass of 50k.
I need a good engine for the bobmer, and even my Mark IV I crafted handles like crap.
The pitch, yaw and roll accelerations dropped from 180 to 50 when I put it into the bomber.
What can I do to make the Bomber handle better?
Thanks.

Brilyn is right. To use a real world analogy, you are trying to make a B52 handle like an F16. It ain't gonna happen.

I'd have to agree with Brilyn.
Basically, when you look at the ships available in JtL, there's two kinds - Bombers and Fighters.
Bombers, by default, will handle like crap. They're bulky, and basically made to do strafing runs on capital ships or clusters of enemies. Fighters can easily tear apart Bombers, and it's completely to be expected. I suppose a Bomber would only be useful in Deep Space, if you're a rebel, wiping out the Star Destroyer...but even then, i dunno.
Fighters, on the other hand, are nimble and agile. This is basically what everyone should be playing.

well. I'm doing quite well with my kimo. I think it is technically a bomber. the thing to realize with the so-called "bombers" is that you have to decelerate significanlty (usually less than 50% throttle) for the ship to steer quickly. If you try to steer at high speed it does steer horribly. It'll never steer as good as a fighter, but it will steer a lot better at lower speeds.
It's true with my kimo that I have a hard time getting right in behind my target because I have to slow down so much to turn quickly. But with good use of the throttle, and intelligent turning I am able to take NPC fighters on. I don't get as many shots in as the fighters do. But with 3 high powered guns all linked to fire simultaneously, I do make very good use of the shots that I do get in.

It's not that clean cut, imo.
Given an advantageous situation, either can beat the other.
Fighters are typically lowmass, so can't take all the top-of-the-line shields and armour. As long as it can stay out of the Bomber's sights, it'll win.
Bombers, however, get to be armour-plated to the wazoo.
So long as they can survive long *enough* to get the fighter in their sights, the 3+ guns, plus multiple missiles will toast the annoying gnat.
