From some posts here and in the pilot forum, the Yaw/Pitch/Roll Acceleration stats (which those numbers appear to be) are better with lower numbers. Yaw/Pitch/Roll Maximumstats arebetter with higher numbers.
sciguyCO,
Could you explain a bit what you mean by the above? I'm not quite following? Are you saying that I should use lower valued RE subs to get better numbers for the final? Or are you saying that in general the lower numbers are better for this stat on all items? Thanks.

Well, I'm just saying that 180 Yaw Acceleration is reportadly better than 250 Yaw Acceleration is better than 300 Yaw Acceleration. So you took a 300 YA + 500 YA and got a 180 YA, whichbetter than either of your starting components. Some stats get better as they get larger (engine top speed, engine pitch max, capacitor recharge rate, weapon damage) while some stats are better as they get smaller (engine mass, engine pitch acceleration, capacitor reactor drain, weapon speed). Doing a RE should always push stats towards "better", regardless of whether that means the stat numericly gets bigger or smaller.
But based on the patch notes for the update that went onto TestCenter today, it's apparently a moot point. The Yaw/Pitch/Roll acceleration stats of the chassis type apparently override the stats of the engine, so they are removing those stats from the engine component.
Yup, just saw the patch notes. Thanks for the clarification
