Thread: Are there (Exceptional) looted ship parts?

Was wonder about this today. I've never looted one and havenever heard anyone say anything about an exceptional part.
Don't see why it wouldn't be possible.

That makes sense. All you can really have is an item with max stats and nothing over that so there is no chance of getting the excpetional tag.

While I have never seen the (exceptional) adjective on a part, I have seen parts with much better stats than normally observed for that level.

Ya, I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen one with (exceptional). I've seen some really really goot parts before though. Some that I'm reluctant to sell even.

I don't think there is.
With space loot each item has a model name, and a small range of stats that that model falls under.

There are some parts that really should be (Exceptional). I have a pair of 33K Gen 19K mass Vortex Mk III Reactors that should have that tag. There are a handful of weapons out there that should.
Thinking about it...I wonder if (exceptional) is one of the banned words when naming a part. It would be kind of cool, but I doubt they'd let you use it.
