Hello.
I need some advice here please. What is the best way of getting KSE disks? I know I have to reeng to get them. So far my fellow
townsmen have brought me loot to reeng, but not more than able to do like 80-100 reeng. sessions inaprox 4 weeks. I have not gotten any disks out of that. I guess there is no special abillities I need to have to get the disks, just te reeng tool and loot?
I guess the real problem here is the lack og enough loot? What is the best way of getting more loot, buy from bazar, buy form loot
vendors or setting up a vendor to get ppl. too offer them there? Or is it possible to get the disks otherwise like buy them?
And there is now way of ensuring to get disks right, it's all a random thing right?
Another thing I just heard is that there is two different KSE's one is low mass and the other one is high mass. It was said to me that I would have to be force sensitive to get the high mass, meanin I would have to do the initial jedi quests and then the crafting quests in Aurilla to be able to make the high mass one out of the disks (if I ever get them
I hope someone can give me some good advice here and answer the force sensitive thing about making KSE's?
Thank you.
PS. Looking forward to make new ships with the new expansion

Loot, loot and more loot is what you need. Each RE attempt has a chance to produce a fragment of the schematic. The numbr of the fragement that drops is random e.g. currently I have numbers 4, 5, 6, 6, 6 ......
The low mass, high mass Firespray is due to the Devs changing the mass a few weeks after JtL went live- the mass allowance was increased.
No idea what the Force Sensitive comments are about - either someone is quoting a rumour, or just joking .......
As for getting hold of loot - buy it from the bazarre, or find a few pilots who regularly go into space and do a deal with them.
I tend to buy loot at 1500 credits per level, so the pilot gets 50% more cash by selling to me than to the chassis broker.
The initial cash outlay is quite large, but when you eventually get the schematic and can build the ships, you should turn in a tidy profit.
Couple that with the chance of some really good loot coming your way, the reverse engineering process should create some outstanding components which you can use yourself or sell for a good profit.

Just to reiterate, force sensitive stuff has nothing to do with Firesprays. Once you get the disks, you'll be able to craft a batch just as well as anyone. Their mass is all dependent on resource quality.

You sure the FScrafting branches wouldn't get you better successes in Assembly and Experimentation?

Are Firespray disks dropping now? Myself and another Shipwright in our guild have done a TON of RE'ing and have gotten no disks at all in the last couple of weeks.
I'm wondering if we should hold on to them and see if this is addressed or not.. if others are getting them, we'll keep going.

Yes, from what little testing seems to have been done, they will help, but as the only thing that really matters is mass and any master will be able to fully experiment the mass line with or without needing amazing successes, nobody's going to notice a difference between theirs and a force sensitive crafter.
Disks are still dropping, I got one just a couple days ago. Was my first in a few weeks. They're rare.

"there's no sense taking risks with a 6-10M credit item."
The thing is, I managed to get ALMOST 213k mass, with what are all but the best resources on the server(if they aren't THE best); and someone comes along and says they've seen 218k mass firesprays.
Are the food and drink able to make an increase like that? Am I being toyed with? Is this person..."confused"?

They're confused. The rule of thumb formula would put a Firespray's theoretical max mass at 215,250, and using some damn good resources I've only hit 212,850 or so. That was at 80% or so experimentation, so 215K is probably right around the max. And considering many resources don't even spawn up to 1000 in MA/OQ/SR/UT, I'd think it'd be very hard to ever beat, say, 214K.
All food and force sensitive stuff can do is help your assembly roll (almost worthless except for avoiding moderate successes) and help your experimentation results. The experimentation stuff is nice because it will decrease your chance of crit fails and increase your chance of amazing successes, meaning you're able to better ensure yourself of reaching your resources' max mass experimentation and maybe letting you fill it in fewer experimentation points, leaving another point or two free for HP experimentation. It won't directly improve any of your item's stats, though; the max on those will be determined purely by the resources involved.
