I just picked it up off the vendor search...the highest I could find was 20390 mass...then this. 95654 mass. It seemed too good to be true...but it wasn't. I'll screenie it when I can. Has anyone else seen anything like this before? It is NOT the heavy variant. Its a normal tier 1 TIE.

Yes, it is a heavy Tie. If you use the best resources in the Galaxy you will never get it to 98k mass. 96k is tough.

Yeah you *might* be able to get it up to 97k. Think I have mine around 96.3k. Either way customers are thrilled at having a 96k mass tier 1 ship - imperials especially since the High Mass TIE is about the best imp ship until master.

I calculate 100% experimentation at 97k. 95.6k is 66%. That's not bad for chassis. My personal Heavy Scyk is 96.4k mass (84%).

Yeah I own one. It cost me a pretty penny though...440k. But I was in a hurry to get one so I didn't shop around for a cheaper price. All in all though, to me it was worth having that much mass. As it stands right now having level 5 parts in it (some level 3s mixed in...still can't find level 5 reactors or engines that can top my current level 3s which is odd) I have 45k mass used up of my 97k mass TIE. All I can say is, "Awesome!"

You probably won't. The relationship between mass and reactor generation is not linear... mass goes up much faster than reactor generation. I can regularly get Mk2 reactors with mass of 3000-3150 and gen of over 13K, but by the time you get to Mk4 you're looking at a mass of almost 4X that amount and a gen only in the 15K range.

I am a 4/4/4/4 pilot and still use the Mk2 crafted reactors in my ships.

Yeah that's why I didn't even bother getting them. I figured why try to go up 2k on power regen and waste all of that space. That seems odd though. In fact my other character might not even make them since it would be a waste of time.

By the way, something that really burned me up was the fact that I bought some missles to put in there and instead of only accepting one cartridge, it accepted all 5 that I stuck in the ship, but only one showed showed up in the components and only one was used and the other 4 magically disappeared. I wish they would fix this. They should either allow certain number of cartridges or give you a message if you try to load more than one cartridge into the launchers.

Are you talking looted reactors? I certainly hope so. A Mark III crafted reactor (level 5) should weigh about 8k mass and provide about 14.5k energy.

As for Mark IV (level 7) reactors mentioned above, I make two types of Mark IV reactors. A "low mass" one that is 16.5k mass 15.6k energy and a heavy one that is 20k mass 16.5k energy. With reactor overload, you rarely need above a Mark II reactor unless you are trying to run engine overload 4 on a ship with more than 2 weapons.

No, not looted but crafted reactors and engines. I looked for awhile to see if I can find a better reactors and engines than the Mark II's but I noticed there's not a lot of difference between the Mark II's and Mark III's. For the reactors there is about 1-2k difference and the engines I've yet to find anything that tops my 75.4 speed Mark II. I usually only find them in the 50 and 60 range.

Well... yeah it's true, except Mk4 reactors are closer to the 17k range.

Are you looking on Gorath or Valcyn?

I think my Mark III engines are around 85 speed, though I'm not sure if I have any in stock. I'll make one tonight to make sure. I think you're finding the old Mark III engines from before the speed boost. It is unfortunate that some SWs still have these listed. I destroyed all mine.

That is about right on the reactors though. Mark II should be around 12.2k energy and Mark III around 13.5k energy.

In JTL-Beta you could not laod a new set of missles if you had any left. People wanted the option to load a freash reload if they only had 1 or 2 missles left, so the option to reload no matter how many missles was left was added.

Clicking on the reload does give message you have loaded missles and clicking twice will give the message the missles where loaded. BUT the missles left in laucher are deleted (more or less) so only click once and you can click on launcher to see how many missles are loaded.
