I had read in the forums that lvl 1 components were the best way to get chances at a kse disk drop as you get a 1:1 ratio per re......but I have re'd over 2000 parts and have noticed since i have been seperating my lvl 2s from 1s that lvl 1s have not been yielding anything. This is based upon 2x as many re's with lvl 1 parts than lvl 2 (the total amount of these parts are approximately equal in my loot box). Can anyone shed some light on this?

I am beginninmg to think that lvl 1 res = 0% possibility of a disk drop.

Unless it has changed recently that is not true. I have most of my KSE disks from lvl 1 and the lower levels (2 and 3).

The rate is only in the region of 1 disk per 200 RE's in my experience, and I haven't seen any patch note suggesting a change.

I'm telling ya that's 1000 parts at lvl 1 with no yield ....I have conferred with another SW that's trying to build them right now and he concurs.

Must be unlucky because I gota disk 4 from alevel one capacitor last night.

Got two #4s and one #3 from about 50 level 1 REs last night. I must be REAL lucky.

i've only really been dabbling in RE'ing and shipwright the past 4 days but in 2 days of re'ing about 20-30 odd items i've gotten disc 1 and 2 so im guessing its probably just pure pot luck. But in theory if every item in a lvl 8 re has a chance of a kuat disk then doing lvl 10 or 1 items should make no difference. However if it doesnt do a roll for every item in the RE but instead just does one roll based on the fact you're REing then you would stand a better chance with level 1's.

I've seen them drop now but believe there is a modifier for lvl of loot vs. the rate of drop because with 35 lvl 2 re's i usually get 2 disks but with lvl 1s (50 of them) i am lucky to get 1
