I have 2 questions about shipwright. I have just learned novice and im having a hard time getting resources to grind.
I was wondering if theres anyway shipwright can be profitable without being very skilled?
I need to make money to afford grinding resources.
My other question is whats best to grind for the fastest xp? Chasis? is there anything else worth grinding??

As far as being profitable w/out being master, open up a loot vendor. I buy anything on Naboo's, Tatooine's & Corellia's bazaar that's $1500/RE level or lower, RE it and resell the final product for $2k / level. The vendor I have strictly for loot sells around 400-700k per day. The downside is I spend about 3-5 hours a night REing.
As for making money for grinding res, that's going to be tougher. Most resource vendors on Sunrunner have jacked the price of grind steel to 4-6 cpu, and those that haven't can't keep in stock. If you can afford it, trade static lots for harv plantations. If you get lucky, you'll get a good steel pop. Other than that, the standard mokk/janta mission session is the simplest way to generate no-work cash.

Chassis give the highest xp, you'll go through boxes pretty fast with em.
As for being profitable, if you are an active pilot or have acess to a guild full of people who are willing to give you looted parts, you can make a decent amount of money having a RE vendor (and you get Firespray disks which you can sell).
Edit: also, what I'm doing to get to master is becoming an aprentice/partner to the other shipwright in my guild (who gathered recorces pre-JTL... unlike me). We're going into buisness together, and as part of that I'm getting help with obtaining grindingrecorces.

Oh, forgot to add.....for pure speed grinding, go chassis, all the way up the line. I mastered SW in about 3 hours, starting from novice artisan.
