The poly-rad on radiant just shifted from
OQ=540
PE=870
to
OQ=740
PE=140
My question is wich makes the more powerful missel? I am a small time rads dealer. The PE looks worthless for power. Is OQ important for poly-rads?

Well, ya gotta remember than for power purposes, any PE of less than 500 counts as 500, which is 1 unit of power for 1 unit of resource.
As for using these for items...
Well. It depends.
The Booster Overdriver, and the Extended Life Fuel Cellwant 33% OQ, 66%PE, so this stuff is terrible for that.
The Reactor Overcharger and Limiter, however, want60% OQ, 40% PE. Still not *fantastic*, but not awful (the second rad would score you a 500 here, while the first about 640 or so)
For weaponry, the Effecitveness Intensifier (Armour or Shield) both want 50% OQ, 50% CD, so this is bad.
All in all, it's worse than the previous spawn. But a shipwright could minimise it's impact by using the newer one in Reactor stuff, and the older spawn in the other two, if they needed to conserve the older spawn.
Otherwise: feed it to the harvs as power.

Good to know. Thanks.
One more question. It looks to me that high grade poly rads only spawn on one planet at a time. With a max concentration in the low 90's. Is this observation consistent with other severs?

All the new SW resources appear to be restricted to a single planet, but they do appear to be spread out.
Most I've seen on any one planet (so far) is 2.

actually when you compute out the balances including the other resources that may (or may not have) potential energy, the weights are far different than listed. actual results are as follows, and as you can see PE is far more important.
"High Grade Polymetric Radioactive PE69%;OQ31%"
Reactor Limiter - Mark III, Reactor Overcharger - Mark III
"High Grade Polymetric Radioactive PE73%;OQ27%"
Reactor Limiter - Mark I, Reactor Overcharger - Mark I
"High Grade Polymetric Radioactive PE77%;OQ23%"
Reactor Limiter - Mark II, Reactor Limiter - Mark IV, Reactor Limiter - Mark V, Reactor Overcharger - Mark II, Reactor Overcharger - Mark IV, Reactor Overcharger - Mark V, Armor Effectiveness Intensifier - Mark III, Shield Effectiveness Intensifier - Mark III
"High Grade Polymetric Radioactive PE80%;OQ20%"
Armor Effectiveness Intensifier - Mark I, Shield Effectiveness Intensifier - Mark I
"High Grade Polymetric Radioactive PE83%;OQ17%"
Mark I Spacebomb Pack, Mark II Concussion Missile Pack, Mark II Image-Rec Missile Pack, Mark II Seismic Missle Pack, Mark II Spacebomb Pack, Mark III Concussion Missile Pack, Mark III Proton Missile Pack, Mark III Seismic Missle Pack, Mark IV Proton Missle Pack, Armor Effectiveness Intensifier - Mark II, Armor Effectiveness Intensifier - Mark IV, Armor Effectiveness Intensifier - Mark V, Shield Effectiveness Intensifier - Mark II, Shield Effectiveness Intensifier - Mark IV, Shield Effectiveness Intensifier - Mark V
"High Grade Polymetric Radioactive PE87%;OQ13%"
Booster Overdriver - Mark II, Booster Overdriver - Mark III, Extended Life Fuel Cell - Mark III
"High Grade Polymetric Radioactive PE89%;OQ11%"
Booster Overdriver - Mark I, Extended Life Fuel Cell - Mark I
"High Grade Polymetric Radioactive PE91%;OQ9%"
Booster Overdriver - Mark IV, Booster Overdriver - Mark V, Extended Life Fuel Cell - Mark II, Extended Life Fuel Cell - Mark IV, Extended Life Fuel Cell - Mark V

dooh. Second spwan is very very weak then. So i will keep as a general rule that its 80% PE and 20% OQ. If not 85/15.
