Thread: What countermeasures/Missiles to mass-produce?

I have found the concussion missiles, proton torpedoes, and space bombs to be the big sellers--all marks. As far as countermeasures go, I have only been able to sell chaff packs. I seem to receive a lot complaints that countermeasures do not work properly; however, this is the only information I receive, so I hesitate to post problems in this forum without more data.

Which countermeasures do players really use? I was going to do a factory run of them, but I am not sure what ones people buy generally. What do you guys sell for countermeasures the most?
Also, for Missiles? Is it generally the mark Vs? Spacebombs? Any ideas? Looking for level that generally sells well.

I sell all sorts. And all except the highest Countermeasures have been sold yet. Short after start of JTL the low level Proton sold best, nowadays Proton Mark III, Concussion Mark II and Spacebombs I+II sell best. For Countermeasures it went from simple Chaff over to Sensor Decoy, and now Micro Chaffs sell mostly.
Not many people buy the seismics, but some do. I have them in my store too since a customer asked me for them around a month ago.
Even Image Rec sell from time to time ... some like pvp

I sell insane amounts of Spacebomb MkII, MKIII and IV protons. The rest kinda happens as a trickle

Suggestion:
Make 50 of each (2 factory crates). Split 1 crate into individuals and put them on your vendor. Put the remaining crate on your vendor. Then track what sells.
It's hard to say what you should produce when the differences between the galaxies can affect what people are buying. If there are more masters in your galaxy, the high end missiles will sell. If there are more lower tier, the lower tier missiles will sell better. Feel out your galaxy's population. And most importantly, feel out your location and advertising methods. If you're asking this question, you're in the midst of establishing your business. So stock low and build up what's selling, saving resources to offer a wider selection of components to see what among them is selling.
