Please SHUT UP! It's that simple! I have gone through quite a few posts today after battling insomnia only to find many posts that state "this is why I quit, why do you still play?" and "they're just asking more people to quit like me." You didn't like it, you left, you hit SOE where it hurts most, the pocketbook, but don't detract from everyone else's playing experience...if you left the game, why do you waste your time harassing us?

It certainly is annoying and most unfortunately it is not focused soley in the SW forums. These "i'm leaving so should you" posts crop everywhere. I mean once in a while it is someone important, but mostly its just people complaining. Me I'll be here till they kick me out.

Wouldn't it be great if the forums worked in such a way that your character actually had to have the profession to be able to write in the corresponding profession forum?

Ahh but then How would Aspiring Shipwrites be able to ask questions? Oh and How would you be able to ask pilots questions as well.?

This post has confused me from when I first read it. Where in the SHIPWRIGHT forum has somebody posted an I quit post? I can't find it.

There are no I Quit posts that I've really noticed, nor do I care about. It's the people that quit who come back to complain about issues that truly don't affect them in ANY way that I wish to just leave us alone. Those who come back to say "yeah, that's why I quit" and their ilk

I for one quit the shipwright market.. I also created a post stating my reasons. I personally dont care whether you like it or not. I didnt gripe, whine, or cry becauseI left it. I just gave my reasons, thats it.. I did it because I wanted the other "up and coming" shipwrights" to see the reasons why someone has left the profession, and for them to make their decission based on my honest reasons. Think about what you are doing.. You are complaining about the people who complained about and/or retired shipwright, and/or quit the game.. Arent you doing the same thing...complaining?

Well it's pretty simple there are those regardless of what they did while in SWG but they choose to bring everyone down because they had a bad experience with SWG and SOE. All of us bash SOE on a regular basis it's just easy to do because none of us are in their shoes but that being said I do agree that SOE has mishandled SWG and what SWG could have become and what it may one day become.
Regarding Shipwright as a profession and the reasons why those quit well sadly folks I honestly don't care why you dropped Shipwright or left SWG. I am still enjoying SWG and being Shipwright, sure it is time intensive and you have to hand craft 95% of the components but that is expected folks. From what I have been told by several customers is that poor sales for some Shipwrights can be attributed to poor customer service. I have had many customers tell me that "you have a customer for life" because I took the time to answer some questions or custom build something for a customer.
We can all flame eachother here and elsewhere on the SWG boards however, that hurts us all as our customers do read these boards.
