I thought I made some pretty good Firesprays. To be sure I searched the auction forums for publically sold vessels and saw some rather impressive ships!
The best Mass Firespray I found was built by Britanny Storm from Tarquinas with 212971.34 Mass with 2834.37 Hit Points. Huzzah! (I came close with a 212868)
The best Hit Point Firespray I found was built by Pwiffo from Valcyn with 3285 Hit Points and 208571 Mass.
So what is your best? Please post. I'd love to see the ranges. Can these get over 213k mass? Can the hit points get over 3300? I'd love to see what you guys can do

I crafted 6 of them from a schematic I finally finished over the weekend. mass ranged from 212000 to 212650 and hitpoints ranged from 2790 to 2880.

YES, The 213-barrier can be broken!
Clicky!
213055.02 mass. Used the very best I had available for everything, except for the aluminum and siliclastic ore...couldn't find either of them ANYWHERE. I bet I could push it up to 213100+ with those...
Stats on the resources used are...
Steel: 959 HR/959OQ/999SR/975 UT (973 avg)
Copper: 637 HR/960 OQ/772 SR/746 UT (778.75 avg)
Low-Grade Ore: 984 HR/962 OQ/992 SR/982 UT (980 avg)
Siliclastic Ore: 940 HR/993 OQ/598 SR/561 UT (773 avg - not the best...best is 812 avg)
Inert Petrochem: 997 OQ Lubricating Oil
Fiberplast: 995 OQ/921 SR/932 UT (949.3 avg)
Aluminum: 687 HR/980 OQ/901 SR/845 UT (828 avg...best is 846 avg)
Iron: 997 HR/974 OQ/999 SR/995 UT (991 avg...this stuff, btw, is STILL the best Kammris on any server, as far as I know...hehe.)

Now I have come across many posts saying that resources have a MINOR impact on the outcome of chasis. Yet this seems to NOT be the case. What is the final word!?

Yes the difference is fairly minor. My last one had 212924 mass, using some not-quite-as-good stuff...two of the things I used in the one above, actually, weren't in shift yet. Compared to that one, the one above with 213055 mass is a 1.00061524% improvement.

When folks ask for hitpoints Ive beaten 3285.. around 3400 if I remember correctly. Some would rather have their 10M firespray last longer rather than have 2k extra mass :-)

My firespray with +900 Stat materials on Bria was 210.5K Mass, and close to 3300 some odd HP.
Not sure if that is exceptional or not, but it was built in a Research Spec City, by a master SW using the crafting food.

My prize is 2918 HP, 212,482 mass.
For more mass, you need Malleability, not Heat Resistance. I'm estimating maximum possible mass as around 215k. Max HP is probably around 3.8-4k.

How the #$^% did I overlook this? O_o With this in mind, next time I get a schem finished (I just ran off the last 4 on my second schematic), I think I might select my resources a little differently....

Thanks for posting the resources and their stats Torael! I have to remember to do this when I build out my new schematic
