I have a account that is not doing anything right now and I am thinking about doing shipwright. Which race gets the best innate bonuses for SW.

Assembly mods means nothing.

It only determines the first combine success, and is not used in the experimentation part of the crafting.

As a human Master SW with no SW assembly tapes (that I don't even think they exist) I never got any roll other than amazing, great or critical failure.

Amazing and Great Success has the same result, and a Critical Failure no longer loses the resources, so it's just another "combine" click and get an amazing or great success.

Don't worry about the race, it does not matter (for SW at least)
