Before pub 19 I was able to make 103.0 speed mark iv engines. After pub 19, using the exact same resources at the exact same crafting station wearing the same clothes, I am only able to achieve 102.4 speed. Both engines are made with a mark iv overdriver that is made with the same resources as well. Before 19 my experimental speed said 98%. It still says 98% after pub 19 but I lost .6 speed. Anyone else notice a big drop in speed using the same resources as before 19?

Just tried to make a mark v engine. lost .6 speed on that also. Again, same resources as before pub 19. Was getting 118.9 now only 118.3

Let me see if I have this right: We're talking about half a percent of lost speed? Are you racing these ships or just trying to get from point A to point B?

Keatts.

The amount of speed lost isnt the point. The point is that there was any speed lost at all. Using the same resources before and after a publish and losing speed is the point.

Interesting, I didn't see anything in the notes about changes in this area (though this wouldn't be the first time the patch notes were incomplete...).

I've noticed a small amount of variance in results when experimenting between multiple parameters, so it will begood to hear if anyothers have found the same problem you're experiencing, Jeb.

Engines aren't the only component that got hit. All my reactors are down in the energy output department. Why are we getting grazed by the nerf bat like this?

Are you sure this isn't attributed to amazing successes and such?...I find that those things tend to cause rounding errors that are difficult to replicate.
