Is anyone else failing like a mother f cker?? I cant even make a simple piece of ship armor w/o crit failing or gettin a moderate success. Gettin very frustrated. No wounder people need an ass load of resources. BTW crafting tools are all 14.9, and the station is 40+...lol, and even when I use the buff drink i get sh itty success.

Nope. I rarely get crit failures. Might get one every hundred attempts... maybe a little more often, but not much more.

I've got FS crafting bonuses and live in a Research Center. Even without the food, I tend to get great and amazing successes very frequently. While FS crafting isn't something you can get on a whim, you might try at least locating a Research Center in which to craft.

Ive had strange luck with that. I'll almost a whole day without one then BAM! 2 or even 3 on the same piece. My policy has been "1 crit fail I keep it, sell it VERY cheap and label it as a crit fail" that way people can make an intelligent decision. More then 1 crit gets destroyed. Had it happen on a few high end ships.
I do like that they added the "safe" feature to crit fails on assembly.

Cool thx ofr the replies. Guess I'll try and find a city with a research center...does a city have to be at a certain lvl of deelopement to be this or is it something specifically added to a c ity?

I've critical failed a couple times, but nothing I would consider to be excessive considering I'm not a master yet. My suggestions have all already been covered here by others though, so nothing new to add other than to concur with them.
