Thread: The analysis tool must be from Microshaft. It ate a disk.

So I finally got all 8 Firespray disks tonight. Thanks in a big part to my guild. I put them in the tool and saw that there definately was 8 disks in there. I double check everything on situations like this. I still remember the PA Hall that failed in crafting after the game first was released. Dont want something like that happening.
I clicked to combine them and nothing happened. I clicked again and samething. I then saw there were 7 disks in my tool and not 8 now. I opened it and pulled the disks. 6/8 was gone. Literally gone. I bugged and ticketed it though I know I wont get the disk back.
I am upset but not so much now as I was 5 hours ago. I was so mad then I could hardly talk. I know tomorrow I will be able to get the 6th disk again if I RE everything the guild is bringing me.
After calming down and thinking clearly I think I know what happened. My ping was through the roof when I tried to combine them. Its quite possible the lag killed it. I dont know how it could have happened but lag does odd things in games. So when you combine your disks make sure your not lagging out.
And yes you can get double disks even if you have them in your inventory. I was missing 8/8 and the only disks I got for several hours were doubles. Then one of my guild found 8/8 for me. But I think its one of those your more likely to get a disk you dont have.

That sucks 
How are you getting so many fragments? I RE'd around 300 parts last night & didn't get a single one

My guild is giving me the loot to RE. I have a contest going with in the guild now. If I am the first one on Kauri to build a Firespray I will give the person that brought in the most loot a free Firespray chassis. The contest ended and restarted all in 1 minute. LOL

My guild are giving me their loot too. Do you have an estimate of how many units you RE'd?

I made a run of 100 13 charge tools and used them in one day. I made a new run two days ago of 1000 tools and have gone through about 200 13 charge tools. But before the runs I did about 20 tools by hand and used them up quick. so roughly I have gone through about 4160 RE's total. I cant give a total amount of loot as some of it was 2, 3, and 4 pieces for one charge. But if forced to guess I would say about 6-7k total pieces of loot since I started looking.
