A friend is letting me borrow his y-8 and glancing at it quickly i noticed it didnt have a reacor.So I'm hoping it doesnt take a special reactor and Il be set to mine soon??????Please say yes.

There is a reactor available forjustthe Y-8, but it can take a normal reactor if you don't have one.

It's bigger (more energy, but over 100k mass) but it uses asteroid resources, which can be expensive.

If you wait for publish 24 the POB reactor there has currently 38k generation. (That is still on TC and subject to change, Y-8 appears to still need the boost)
