I was just reviewing the guide to resource caps, and noticed the author listed these new JTL ones as not having anystat caps. That would officially make them the best in their class. For example, the highest CD-OQ on aluminum was 800/1000 for a 900 average. But Perovskitic Aluminum (if not capped) could reach the 1000 max. Has anyone been able to confirm/deny this?

Well that guide is not "official".
But I believe it is correct that there is no cap on the new resources. One has to wonder if this is intentional or a major blunder by the devs.

All I know, is that it's very nice for weaponsmiths....
PLus, now when I need ore, I just mine the new stuff. Why search for hours to get a 55% spot of the old ore when you can fly into a starport, survey, and in 10 minutes or less be sitting on a >80% spot of the new ore?>

I can vouch for the SR on The JTL Borcarbitic copper. Before JTL, copper never cracked 800 for SR on Chili. We had a spawn of the JTL copper that was 968. Added 8 points to my Powerhammers. /dance

So farI've seenJTL resources breach around half the known caps in all directions. Copper with CD 40, Steel with CD 998, etc. And it wasn't just the first set of resources, the second set ofspawns did as well.
The average stat on the 16 spawns so far on Tempest is 503. This also indicates the full spectrum from 1 to 1000 unless there are symmetrical upper and lower caps.
So it's logical to assume they have no caps at all.
A better question is if they willchange future spawns oncethey realize they forgot about the caps.

If you happen to take a peek at the stats of some of the resources across all servers over at SWGCraft.com, I think it's fairly safe to say they are not capped. However, it also seems that there are no minimum stats either, for example the UT on Duralloy Steel and Kammris Iron is always in the 900s. I think it's going to be fairly difficult to get a good spawn of high OQ high CD steel if the numbers can range between 1-1000.

That 998 CD steel is also 808 OQ. This is on the Tempest server if you were wondering. It's pretty crazy steel to get your hands on, especially considering the next best steel with that high CD/OQ is no where near that good.

And its so very nice. Around 15 heavies and 5 mediums sitting on a 85% spot right now. Since it spawned in. Hehehe.
