Thread: Specialization or Diversity

After beating my head in an effort to supply as much of everything Shipwright that I could, I've finally decided to cut back and specialize.

I've decided to focus on consumables like missles and chaff, and on either drive train (engines, boosters and reactors) or weaponry.

I'm trying to get an idea of whether this speciallization is common through the SW community, or does diversity hold more sway?

I stock multiples of every possible thing we can make, but I try to be a high quality, low volume dealer, so this makes it more fun. (South Coronet is the center of commerce in our Galaxy, and I do not have any vendors there. I am tucked away on Dantooine, and my customer base comes out there to shop).

It kinda comes down to business for me. It seems no longer possible to earn credits selling a little bit of everything, so I'm going to try to sell a lot of a few things. Seems easier to collect resources (freeing up space) and if your name becomes well known for a certain component, word of mouth may make business more brisk.
