Maybe this should go in the pilot forums, but has anyone compiled some data on the average values of looted components? I'm asking because I'm running out of storage space and need to sell a few hundred looted components, but don't want to throw away anything that might be useful for REing in the future. I started an Excel sheet on everything I currently have, but realised that would take a really, really long time. Has anyone already gone through and done this? Thanks.

I have a pretty good database of looted component values -- are there particular things you are interested in?

Nothing specific, mostly just the average values of everything based on their RE level. Just trying to avoid dumping anything exceptional that I might use later on. I think I might go through and catalagoue everything I have after all, I suppose it wouldn't take that long...

Not quite...

Odd numbered Boosters, Capacitors and Engines are definitely worse than their even numbered brethren by tier: 3 worse than 2, 7 worse than 6. But Weapons are more complicated. Odd numbered weapons have lower to-shield and to-armor rates but shoot faster and have generally higher damage values.

For Armor, Droid Interfaces, Reactors and Shields: higher is better if you can carry the extra mass.
