I have only been playing the game for 50 days (aprox) and I'm about to start becoming a Force Sensitive Crafter, and I'm reading all the facts and I hear shipwright XP can non be converted to FS XP. So that poped an intersting question into my head, is it going to be worth it? Does the bonus given to me with FS Crafting Skills affect my Shipwright Crafting Skills? I looked everyone couldn't find the answer so I just decided to post.

As far as I know, FS skills don't affect us. I may be wrong, but I seem to remember it coming up here before and that was always the answer.

It's hard to say whether FS crafting skills affect shipwright. As shipwright did not exist prior to the new FS system it's difficult to make a comparison.

My general take on it is that my FS crafting skills do help in shipwright. I've never had less than a great experimentation result in shipwright (I have Force Experimentation IV).

Never? That sounds like pretty definitive evidence for it affecting SW, then. I have crit fails on experimentation on roughly 10% of the stuff I craft. For me that's one of the worst parts about SW, in fact.

critical fails on SW is brutal, I've had fails on my Artisan and I don't get as bad as with SW, I sent support a mail about this who knows if they'll respond. But sounds like it does work, thanks

major components do not have resource loss on critical assembly failure, much as in architect. so it is not bad. just do it over.

experimentation failures result in "factory seconds" which still sell well if priced appropriately. so also not too bad.

so we have it not so bad.

i have read that force sensitive experimentation does aid shipwrights, but h ave seen no hard evidence.

it is sad that we can get no fs xp for our efforts. this has limited my shipwright crafting time recently, as i want to work towards jedi, too, and shipwright time is a waste in that respect. it is WAY past time for shipwrights to receive fs xp for their crafting efforts.

no, wait, i saw this game... "pong" i think it was called. it was really easy to understand! maybe you could make swg more like pong! think of it! fast paced action! iconic characters! MORE FUN!
