Some good ideas there.

1. the devs kinda started something, i just hope they make minitures of all the ships, but even if we could have a poster of each type would be great too.

2. I just be happy if they gave us a virtual install terminal where you can virtually install your parts to see if they fit and what they would look like. As for flight, i don't see it happening but a terminal would be more doable.

3. I guess many would like to do that, but i just don't see myself as a road side mechanic. still a good idea.

4. Definatly need lootable sub-components. they should have done that in the begining. urg, why devs why?

5. Any increase in our experimentation and increase in the crafted limits would be a great thing.

These are some long and short term things I'd like to see- (forgive me if I repeat any ideas already posted)

1. Showroom - In order to show customers what the different ships look like, "blueprints" should look like models of the ship or atleast a 2d picture of one. Then I can put then on the wall or what not to create a show room. Now, with the new tie fighter and xwing mini's it looks like it will cost me over 20million to have a complete showroom, if they continue to make mini's of every ship. So it doesn't have to be "models' but small pictures would be good, or even a poster that shows all the imperial, rebel, and private ships. So 3 posters one for each. Customers are always asking me what the difference in style 1 or 2's are and I hate saying "you can check on the web". *shrug*. I know I could memorize what they look like from pictures and explain it, but itjust seemsbetter to be able to show them.

2. Would you like a test drive? - As a master shipwright, I'd like to be able to "test drive" each ship I can make. Since I am a "dealer" of ships, I'd love to be able to make a yt and take it for a test drive, put different engines in it and see how they work. Now, of course I would not be skilled enough to fight with it, so let's say no guns could be installed or atleast you cannot attack anything. Like if you are a master shipwright and taking a test drive, it is like being in your sorosub. No fighting, no interacting with other ships at all, and no storing anything on the ship. Just fit with parts and go. This idea is kinda tricky so I'd setting for displays of somekind.

3. Shipwrights have a repair in space skill - As a shipwright you can offer "repairs" to another player in space. Maybe a shipwright can have a special "repair" ship or frighter with a repair hold of somekind. If not that then just an ability to 100% repair another ship in space. Perhaps there would be a special component you install on your ship in order to do the repairs.

4. lootable sub components -Lets say that a better part of space loots start being the subcomponents for stuff. So instead of a whole component like an engine, you instead loot a really good engine overdriver. That way the shipwright is still involved in crafting. I don't mind just reversing stuff since it is kinda like a smuggler slicing, but I'd rather you still need to buy the completed part from a shipwright, and this would open up more moneymaking possibilies since pilots could become suppliers of parts more than suppliers of a chance for a firespray disk. I'd still like seeing whole parts looted but just not as much as the sub components.

5. As many have mentioned, better experiementation with ypr would be very helpfull. However, if looted subcomponents came into the game, shipwrights might be able to craft something better than you can obtain looting whole pieces. Perhaps then the looted subs would make up for the lower ypr you can craft.

That's it for now, I have many more ideas, but I have to get back to work. Lunch is over =(

I'd be happy with a craftable upgrade to YPR.
