Thread: Some new ships would be nice

The Devs have said that Cap Ships are something they are thinking about for the future (read here: later expansions)
and the Rebel Transports (From the Battle of Hoth in Empire) are small cap ships.

When flying in my ship i wonder why i never see the following :
* Nabooian star fighters
* Tie Defender
* All the ships from STAR WARS STAR FIGHTER (there are some fun ones in that)
* Sith fighter ( Maybe something for a Dark Jedi )
* Jedi starfigther ( Maybe something for a light jedi )
* trade federations transports
* ebony hawk ( Knights of the old republic )
* outrider ( Dash Rendar's ship)
* Rebel transports ( from the escape from Hoth in empire Strikes back)
* Twin pilot ships ( from bestine, cloud city )
Or any other I can think of ATM
Anyone knows if the devs are gona implent them into the game ?

i would love to see 2-3 new ships choices for each type of pilot, for me it would be the silver/chrome ship anikan and his ladie friend were in on tatooine, and the 2-part ship obi wan drove in the same film when he was chasing the jengo fett, be really cool if that ship had the same docking options too.....

the problem with new ships is that every faction already has at least one light, medium and heavy fighter, so if they were to add anything new, they would almost be like different styles of ships that are already in the game, i agree it probably would be cool to have some more choices though

What's wrong with multiple choices for each tier? Privateers get it.
I'd like to see the Otana (not sure if that is spelled right, but it's a YT2000 or something, from Rebel Alliance)
Gunboat from X-wing
Missile boat from Tie fighter
But most of all I'd like to see some CAPITAL ships! Some thing that this game has totally ignored! I'm you can see Star Destroyers from the planet, yet when you get to space.......... hmmmmm, where are they????

The Ebon Hawk from KOTOR... I doubt that will ever make it's way into JTL simply for the fact that the game was set 25,000 years prior to ANH.
