Yeah, I know it has been REd... just wanna know if it's possible to get something with these specs nowadays. Or was that speed for that mass nerfed?

Im not sure if its been nerfed, i've been hoarding my components ready for RE when i finally get SW with my alt and have like 800 parts so far and i have some nice parts in there but dont think i'll be able to top that! Basically all you'd need was one exceptional level 4 engine with a high speed and since the normal level 4 stuff is low mass bobs ya uncle, right?

I bought the following enginelast November or December. I think it's a fabulous engine, and want to start looting with intent to RE some other ones
(For those that don't want to click: YPR isbetween 62 and 64, Speed 81, and mass is 3490.)
Is this type of engine speed/handling/mass even possible to RE anymore? It tops out at 1053 ina tie advanced, and leaves plenty of room for other toys.

Very nice engine for the mass, I'd be curious to see what level it is. Once upon a time they had reward engines that were like 15k mass, and 92.2 speed at level6. I gathered up a few of those engines and really enjoy them, but if your engine is a low level, which i'm assuming it is based on the mass then it's an even better engine due to it's ability to be used early on in the grind(ie a level 4 engine would be my guess based on the mass). I have a nice level 2 engine i picked up yesterday with 74top speed lol and only like 1500mass. It's a killer low lvl engine, not quite as good as yours is, but depending on the level of your engine it could be more useful since it could be used at lvl2(x1xx pilot lol).
The MarkV engines aren't really a good comparison. They are much faster, but are extremely heavy and really don't work well for anything except the master level multi player ships due to their extreme mass. Also keep in mind that a Crafted engine has much lower PYR ratings than an RE'ed engine. All in all I'd say you have a great engine. I'd like to see the level of the engine but short of that it's a very impressive engine and I'd definately keep it if I were you. Is it the best engine possible, no probably not, but it sure is close especially for the mass. It wouldn't be best used in a master level ship, but would be a great engine for something like a tie interceptor or another extremely fast low mass ship.
