Seeing how I havent had a disk drop in at least a month [I am RE'ing on average 5 to 25 componets a day] I have decided to charge for RE same as i do for slicing weapons and armor. With the lack of decay on componets and the seeming lack of a decent steel spawn [to craft blueprints] on my Ahiza I dont think it is unfair.... but figured I would toss this out for comment from ya'll.
[tradeing my dupe disks for ones i still need if your an Ahiza shipwright and not already on my friends list... send me a message

I tell people that I will RE components for tips. Sometimes they give me naught. But one time this player surprised me and tipped me 500K credits

I would. Unless it's for a friend or a guildie I work with. Tips are a good way to go, but it certainly will vary from one person to the next as to what you'll get. In fact, if you set a fixed price, some people will pay more anyway if they think it's cheap. Most will just pay your price though.

I usually charge an extra component of the same level. The more parts I have the more I put on my vendor.

In a word: yes.
But it's whatever makes the game worth it for you.
