BORSTEL DISRUPTER
Level 8 Ship Equipment Certification
Armor- 700.8

Damage - 2387.7 - 3691.9
Vs. Shields - .630
Vs. Armor -.620
Energy/Shot - 14.1
Refire Rate - .43

is this gun very good at all, and also what would happen if i got it reverse-engineered
I don't really even know what that does to things

I't's an ok gun, it's a bit heavy and the refire rate is slow. How ever you need 7 more guns with reverse engineering level 8 to be able to reverse engineer it. Bascially, RE takes the best stats out of all the 8 guns and combines them into one gun. Mind you, the guns are destroyed after the RE so you end up with ONE extremely good gun.

Uh... actually you didn't loot this, its a reward item you get for completing a tier 4 mission in thefreelancer pilot tree. By itself its got good damage and great energy per shot, but very heavy, as Slysix mentionedit will make a great RE weapon as long as you choose what other weapons you combine it with carefully.

Yep, that's one of the tier-4 reward weapons. They all start with high mass, but the low energy/shot is hard to beat. Basically you can get the mass down below 24k, and even speed up the refire rate if you pick good weapons to combine with it for RE. Defenitely worth it.
