I am one. I am thinking of givining up shipwright for some more combat related skills, but if the new ships look good and people actually want to buy them, I just may stick with it. It has been fun so far.

I'm planning on going for this as soon as I unlock jedi and get an alt slot. I love smuggler too much to ever drift away from it. And of all the crafting professions, shipwright is the one that seems most interesting. I was a master arch way back when so I think I'm well prepared for the insane resourse requirements and customers who whine about price.
I also love to fly and am looking forward to making and REing my own gear. People who've never done any sort of crafting just don't know how it is. There is just such a profound sense of pride and acomplishment to use what you've created yourself. To me that's worth far more than being able to walk around and brag about how uber you are and how many durnis you can slaughter per minute.
I went away for several months and lost everything I had. 90% base composite suit. Uber weapons. Full set of maurader quest armor. Tonne of pearls/crystals. Exotic weapons and CA's... and the thing I missed the most was the medium Tatooine house I made for myself.
Should be sometime this month... I'm just worried I'll be spending more time on this alt than my main
