Do they add mass to the hull?

Do they improve overall performance?


Can they be put on existing ships or does a new hull have to be made?

They're a ship component that is purely cosmetic, I believe.

Winlgets are totally cosmetic. I don't remember if they take up mass, but I think not.


They load on any existing (applicable) chassis via the Manage window. They'll show up under "chassis modifications".
