Thread: Tractor beam constantly on.

Was playing around in my Y-8 tonight.

I always use my mouse instead of the joystick when manning a turret (faster and more acurate aiming imho).

Anyhoodyhow, pressing the right mouse button once turns the tractor on and it stays on. Nice to be able to sweep an area w/o having to hold the button down. Jeez I'm lazy! I know my tractor-workers will like it.

Don't know if anybody else knew this or not. Just hope it helps somebody out.

There are 3 controls to work the tractor beam. Turn on, Turn off, and Toggle on/off. I'm not in game right now, so I can't tell you what the commands are. I always remap my keys to my joystick buttons so I don't know what 1/2 of the defaults are anyway.

Does this mean I could load my ALT into the turret, face it forward and go to town?

I always assign my tractor to weapon group 6. Then by hitting the number 6 on the keyboard it toggles on/off

Hrmmm... Good idea! I'll give it a try later tonight after the preview!
