are there missions or something..(yes im a newbie to crafting ships) any links or info will help.

They are aquired though any RE job you do, its random and rare bonus you can find whilst RE'ing components, some quote as high as100 to 300 RE'd and you stand a chance of getting one... theres 8 fragments in total (labled2/8, 5/8 etc)you can get, once you got all 8, put them all in your tool and it spits you out a 3 to 6 use schematic (random number of uses)

btw, When you get a disk (fragment), you'll see a system message right after you hit the "Analyze" option. It'll say "You found an odd item inside one of the components!"

So this isn't something a new SW will be able to make any time soon...
