Head to Kasshykk (or however the heck ya spell it) and talk to Flash Harrison in the tree. It's at the end of the storyline.

POB is Portalized OBject and in this case refers to the ships you can walk around in (Yacht, YT-1300, Nova, Decimator, Y-8)

I have looked at the skill tree, and looked at the bazaar and haven't seen any y-8s. Where do i get one?

I too have this same question, if someone wouldn't mind answering. I am starting to play again after 6 month leave (I blame episode 3) and I cannot figure out where to get a Y-8 mining ship OR what a POB ship is. I can craft Elite parts for both but I have no schematic for either one

Bodok Oro, Master Shipwright, Master Droid Engineer, Master Merchant

Waypoint coming...just outside Mos Eisley (Im on the map as SHIPS vendors) Some of the best parts in the galaxy at very reasonable prices, all priced on resources used.

You have to start the quest to get space mining equipment anyway. It's only one (or two?) missions after you get the last piece of equipment. But, you have to be a Master Pilot to fly the ship.
