Thread: ship strakes (or what ever those side pods are called)

i have just fitted a set of strakes onto my X wing. now, before the release of ROTW i am sure someone wrote on the friday feature that ships with these would have a greater mass. but wwhen i added them nothing changed. have i got these right or do they nothave ANY use at all?

there is higher mass reward ships and SW can make high mass scyk, TIE, and Z-95. The wings and strakes are just cosmetics, nothing more.
