Thread: I need direction

Yeah but you're looking at as if we all want to grind. I don't want to grind. I do want my crafting labors to be seen as worth FS exp though and I think it's only fair. That way I can get the boxes filled in the intended way. By crafting things people are actually going to use and not doing it in a week.
I applaud you!!! That is exactly the way all of the villiage FS XP should be achieved.

We've had this discussion, and then had it again. And then the next day we had it again, and again, and again, over and over and over and over. I would call you a noob, but you've been here since 2003, and then someone would call me a meanie for calling you a noob. Then the whole issue would lose focus, and we don't want that.
So once again, if you want to be a jedi, why don't you try working on some of the ground professions and leave the space stuff to us. If crafting ship components isn't enough of a reward for you, then perhaps you should re-evaluate what profession you want to be.
Oh, and just because the developers of a game make a decision to not give a particular class in an RPG a skill doesn't mean you've been "jacked". Same as lvl 1 crafters not being able to wear armor, so they can't fight. Same as Freelance pilots not being able to fly a TIE or X-Wing. Those are the rules of the game, and you knew it when you picked your profession. Crying about it later is counter productive. Why don't you join the long lines of players asking forbroken systems to be fixed, instead of working systemsto bechanged.

{Some really good stuff- Edited for length}
look all i was looking for was a link to one of those discussions. If you wanna call me a noob thats fine, you wanna say leave the space stuff to you thats fine too. Just know that I am a master pilot, I am a master SW, and that the character I would like to do this with is just for the fun of it and I don't like having 3 million shipwright crafting expsitting collecting dust and not worth anything. I did go away from SW cause i thought it was worthless, but I used my respec token to go back to it cause I do enjoy it. I just find it jacked that EVERY profession but the JTL ones can turn in exp at the village. and in case you havn't noticed in the patch notes the DEV team is more concerned about jacking exp and changing stuff than fixing anything. So please next time you go putting someone down READ the post and try to post something productive and not demeaning for the rest of us please
Look man, I did read your post. And I've read dozens like them that all say the same thing. The truth is the developers of this game don't have to justify to you thier decision to keep FS and JTL separate. I know you're gonna say "but I'm the customer" but the customer isn't always right.
Have you ever played another RPG before? Usually when you max out your xp in another game and can't level up any more, then you've reached the end-game for that skill. So you have hundreds of thousands of shipwright xp? So what? You're a master shipwright now, that xp doesn't have to be usefull for anything anymore. The devs have giving alot of people a gift when it comes to FS xp conversion, but that doesn't mean you've been "jacked" just because your profession isn't part of it.
I know there's a group of shipwrights out there who would like to see this changed, and this is an issue that the devs know about. Why don't YOU be constuctive and add your signature to one of the hundreds of other posts like this, instead of /flaming the devs.
And one other thing. You, like many other people on these forums, have got the wrong idea of what happened with the xp nerf. You accuse the developers of this game about not caring about fixing bugs, and yet the xp nerf was an attempt to fix a system that was unintentially giving out more xp then it was designed to. It just happened to be one of the rare bugs that most people liked, although I have found hundreds of people who would agree that some change needed to be made 'cause the grind to a master elite combat profession was way too easy and alot of vets felt like they were getting the shaft 'cause they had to work alot harder in the past for something that could take just a day or two for any noob to get.
If you had read any of the devs posts after theybugged the fix, then you'd know that.
