I'd have to say No, to an extent.

*Some* RE'd parts will always blow away crafted (engines come to mind really fast)

*Most* RE'd parts will always fall below crafted. The really good ones are the exceptions.

In general, weapons, capacitors, boosters, and reactors will always beat everything but the best of RE'd components. So those SEAs are definately worth getting.

For the other's, it's personal preference. Actually, for the above as well. If you're a shipwright but don't have the resources to craft some really nice weapons, all the SEAs in the world won't help you.

IMHO, yes, they are worth it, but only the 4 listed above. But, that's just my opinion (which you did ask for )

Well, if you are going to craft items that Shipwrights use, then no because the experimentation ones get you 1 extra experimentation point per +10 and only can get two experimentation points. If your going to just RE'd things and not craft anything then it would be a waste of credits.
