I ran across something a little weird while RE'ing a level 8 gun. I was loading guns into my B-wing to see what they looked like before I RE'd them - afterward, I put it back on my B-wing to make sure it took correctly. I figuredit would go pretty nicely on my Bel-22 so I loaded it up and took off.

Now I haven't bugged this yet because it's really funny...

The gun now fires directly toward the bottom of my ship - fully 90 degrees back toward me. I guess it could come in handy if I can manage to sort of land on a gunboat outside it's arc of fire or something, but otherwise...what the hell is that? I've unloaded it, moved it from one ship to another, etc. Any time it lands on my Bel-22 though, it always shoots straight down. Anybody else ever heard of that?

The straight-down-firing on a Bel kind of makes it seem like a huge lasar can opener. Shame I didn't think to take screenshots...

I think the RoTW ships are still buggy. I put an RE'd gun on my ARC-170 and the port (left) side gun sits halfway under the wing while the starboard gun sits out in space, not attached to the ship at all. Same on a friends ARC-170 as well. However, Both of the RE'd guns on my Eggtis function correctly.

If the Universe ever seems as though it just doesn't give a f#*k; Relax, it's being as friendly as it ever gets.
