I've read and reread about REing and I thoguht I was doing everything correctly, but I'm still having problems. Here's the dilemma.

I put in all level X components. All levels are the same and yes I can RE that level. I click analyse and it says I've put too many components in and they all have to be the same level...well, they are all the same level and no i would only put in 10 or less. The only time I got it to work was when I had the exact same name, level, and stats! I read that this had been changed a long time ago and it doesn't matter about the name or stats. So, if someone can help me out, I'd be GREATLY appreciative!

The number of components = the RE level.

RE 6 needs 6 components.

RE 8 needs 8 and so on.

This game is now in complete violation of Raph Koster's and Rich Vogel's insights into the MMO world

its the re level not the certification level that matters here. make sure you are using the same re level.

if that fails tell us the name and re lvl ofevery part you are trying to re.

Ah ha! Thank you very much!! I didn't know about the number of components was with respect to the RE level wasalso a play in on the REing. Thank you very much.

I guess that was a slight detail I accidently overlooked possibly.

It's easy as hell to do. I got all happy the other day when I got a pair of L10 capacitors, turns out one of them was L 10, RE 10. The other was L 10, RE 4. At least I made 10k on the sale.

Reenginering Certification x, RE level yWITH Certification y, RE lvl y,

can give wonderful stuff!

(i mix a certif 8 Re lvl 4 with others lvl 4, i ll have a nice lvl 4 with lvl 8 comp)

Did i manage to be clear?
