Hi All,
I just made Shipwright 1000, and it's my first crafting profession (except for the Engineering tree in Artisan).
When using a public crafting station (and a ship crafting tool), I can't craft a Dune Lizard, a Tie or a Y-Wing blueprint. The schematics for the Dune Lizard, the Tieand the Y-Wing are in my datapad, but not in the crafting menu. The only chassis blueprints I can craft are those for the starter ships.I am able to craft the other 1000 items (texture kit 3 for example).
A CSR told me that I should use a private crafting station. Is that correct? Is a private crafting station required for the ships other than the starter ships?
Thanks.

I do recall being able to make them all at a public, that's the point
But I also know that at least with SW (haven't had the problem with my WS one) sometimes the tool doesn't recognize that you're near one. Try walking around a bit, stand on top of the thing, etc. Usually works for me.

Some Schems CANNOT be made at a public station as their 'rating' is lower than a private. It's quite possible all chassis are rated higher than public.

The only chassis that can be crafted at a public station are the novice-level ones (TIE-LD, Scyk, Z-95). All the other chassis, and the majority of SW parts require a private station.

You can either buy a private crafting station from an architect, or have a master droid engineer hook you up with a droid with a private station. Too bad you're not on Bria, or I'd hook you up with one.

Thanks for all the replies. I bought a crafting station tonight, and I was able to craft other ships than the starter ships. So all is well
And thanks anyway Sekundar.
