i am no shipwright, but i understand that when RE an item that the best stats from each item are used for the final product, right? now, i am told that when a shipwright does his RE thing that he is able to "experiment" on these parts too? is that right? ok, well i also am to understand that there is a possible bug that doesn't allow you to use those experimentation points on mass and drain stats for items that are being RE'ed? has this been fixed or addressed as of yet? i am so confused as to whatloots i should keep and sell due to this matter...please advise...

When a shipwright RE's components, the final component gets a bonus to the final stat. The bonus is applied to all stats.
No experimentation.
I suggest keeping loots with high stats where you want high numbers (capacitor recharge rates, engines with highpitch/yaw/roll/speed) and keep loots with low numbers where you want low numbers (mass, energy drain, etc). For higher level items, you might also want to keep some "filler" parts.

right! i forgot about the bonus part...thx for the reminder...anyway, the part that i really want to know is if that bonus is applied to ALL STATS as you said. last i heard that there was a bug that prevented the bonus from being applied to the mass of an item as well as the reactor drain of an item...IS THIS FIXED????
